Agnee's music is a collective of individual styles of composing and performing: Koco with his Classic rock, Pop and Indian influences and Mohan with his Carnatic and Hindustani classical influences.
Agnee's music showcases all of the above and the compositions in the first album vary in style accordingly. The songs move in genre from Folk rock and Pop-Rock to straight up Pop, and incorporate elements of Funk, Jazz and Carnatic music as well.

Are you aware that "AGNI" was one of the oldest rock bans of India, which used to have some really great english numbers, This restart in 2007, is after a gap of around 8-9 years, So calling this band a new one will be unjust, The lead of the band KUKO was also part of the original band and he is the one instrumental in bringing together the band again, any writeup that calls this band new is not justified. Not mentioning the legacy of original AGNI as the strength of this new reboot is forgetting the legacy. Though nice writeup, If possible please include the information that you just got.
Hello Anonymous...it would have been better if i know your name....anyhow this article was not about 'AGNI'...it was about 'AGNEE'....yes I agree with your point the KOKO was the member of both the band...but the 'AGNI' to 'AGNEE' has lot of changes between....specially the classical voice of Mohan....
Anyhow, the band took my attention when 'Saadho Re' was aired....after that when my hunger for this band more songs rose...i came to know about 'Wind Dance With Fire' 'AGNI' album....
Anyhow...nice to know you have same passion for this band as me...and my readers will be thankful for your post....thanks a lot
