It was fest time in our college. Everybody was planning to do sumthing in it. Me and my three friends can't keep our hands out of it too.
We were the freshers so we consulted our favourite seniors for the song which we should perform. One song was decided and we started preparing for it. Every night we recited the lyrics and tried to sync our voices with each other. Within couple of days we were doing good and we were called for demos by our seniors. Everyone praised and our spirits rose higher.
They day of performance came and our performance was kept for the closing. We were tensed backstage. Slowly the time crawled towards the closings and from nowhere our Head Of Department decided to share his gratitude towards the student and somehow he took longer than everyone expected.
Finally, our performance was cancelled at the last moment and it was when we missed our performance..........
